After meeting Evangelist Peter Nguyen in Topeka, Kansas in April 2025, God opened the door to International mission trips in 2025. This was a major step forward and came about quickly as Peter invited Daniel Flagg to go to Vietnam a few months later in August. As the Lord guided us we went to Laos and Thailand in addition to Vietnam. The mission team grew to four members and we partnered with local churches to preach the Good News in all three countries.
The Good News was received enthusiastically everywhere we preached. God moved powerfully as we went from village churches to churches to houses and street corners preaching. In Vietnam 77 people were born again and 22 were baptized. In Laos 36 people said “Yes” to salvation calls and in Thailand which unlike Vietnam and Laos is not a communist country, 64 received Christ as their savior.
People who go on mission trips come back saying “It changed my life,” and that was definitely true for this trip. Beyond the sheer numbers of salvations, God worked powerfully to heal many people that we prayed for. Probably the one that stood out the most was the 85 year old woman who was bent over 90 degrees at the waist and could barely walk. After being prayed for this woman who had been bent over for years at the waist stood up to within 10 degrees of straight up. Another highlight for Daniel was the privilege of naming a 5 day old baby adopted by the Vietnamese Orphanage he stayed at for 8 days. Daniel named him Joshua and he is a healthy little baby now. We look to many more memorable times, salvations, and signs and wonders in 2026 when we return.
What a joy it was to minister for 3 days in Ft. Walton Beach Florida in November of 2025. OTB Ministries set up 3 tents by the 4 lane highway in the lawn of Covenant Community Church. We had put out 10 lawn signs along the highway in front of the church with headings like grief, restoration, pain, etc. for 7 days. Although the turnout (those stopping for prayer) wasn’t a great number, God brought exactly the ones who needed support. One couple drove up and got out and the woman said “If ever in my life I needed someone to pray for me today would be that day.” She had just been served with papers saying she had a restraining order for 5 years – BUT GOD! After stopping for prayer she was able to have the restraining essentially removed. Another woman was estranged from her children and grandchildren and hadn’t been to church in 10 years but she accepted Jesus Christ and began going to church again. Many thanks to Luke Armstrong and his intercessors who came out to support our efforts there. The people we ministered to expressed their sincere thanks.
